Capricorn have been around the country scene for over 20 years.
Originally a duo formed when Robin Williams advertised for another to join him and that someone was John Scott.
Robin was already a veteran of Country Music bands around the South Coast but wanted to scale down to a duo. John was new to the area and was more than happy to get his feet in the door.
The name Capricorn was Robin's wife's idea - it was both their star sign.
After a few years playing in pubs and small clubs they evolved into a five piece band.
Robin's input during those early years should not be underestimated and John will always be very grateful.
With the inevitable personnel changes in a long standing band, they have been a four piece for several years. What has never changed is their loyalty to the music.
This band is proud and happy to be pigeon holed into the box marked
