BAND BIOGRAPHY

Capricorn have been around the country scene for over 20 years. Originally a duo formed when Robin Williams advertised for another to join him and that someone was John Scott. Robin was already a veteran of Country Music bands around the South Coast but wanted to scale down to a duo. John was new to the area and was more than happy to get his feet in the door. The name Capricorn was Robin's wife's idea - it was both their star sign. After a few years playing in pubs and small clubs they evolved into a five piece band. Robin's input during those early years should not be underestimated and John will always be very grateful. With the inevitable personnel changes in a long standing band, they have been a four piece for several years. What has never changed is their loyalty to the music. This band is proud and happy to be pigeon holed into the box marked ……COUNTRY MUSIC BAND!
